We currently hold weekly playgroups, throughout the year, in each other's homes. This provides good opportunity to socialize our children and strengthen adult friendships on a regular basis. During winter months, we schedule frequent field trips to museums, such as Boonshoft Museum or Cincinnati Children's Museum, We meet up at indoor play areas and other local venues. In the warmer months, we frequent area parks and playgrounds, petting zoos, festivals, and other local events. We organize family get-togethers, such as picnics and holiday events. In addition, our organized message boards allow easy planning of all our activities. The boards are a further means of strenghtening our friendships by providing a place to ask questions, share ideas, recipes, suggestions, and recommendations, to name a few. We offer frequent "Mom's Night Out" so we have the chance to talk without our children. Some of our other other benefits include "Parents' Night Out", "Babysitter Exchange," "Monthly Bunco Night," and a book club.
If you are a mom who is serious about getting out of the house, making friends, socializing your children, and having fun, we invite you to join our group. We are a supportive group always looking to develop new friendships for ourselves, as well as for our children. We are active and organized. We have been a supportive group for stay at home moms in the south Dayton area for 4 years, and our frequent activities and lasting friendships speak for our group's dynamic today.
